Podere Mollano is situated in Italy in the heartland of Tuscany, on 14 hectares of privately owned land. It is surrounded by a beautiful countryside of rolling hills and nature that changes its face with every season. There is always a gentle breeze blowing, which helps make the hot summer days very pleasant.  A 300-meter driveway, branching off a country road leads you to Podere Mollano. The surrounding pine forest invites one for a stroll and mushroom picking during the fall season. For those who love nature, you will be guaranteed to view free-roaming wildlife, namely, pheasants, deer, foxes and hares.  Podere Mollano is a large stone villa, which was originally built by one of the local counts. The property has been fully renovated by its current Czech-Swiss owner.  During reconstruction a great deal of effort was made to preserve its original Tuscany style and as well as characteristics of the local architecture, which blend in with the local countryside.  There are three totally independent large, well appointed apartment units, equipped with standard amenities, each with its own entrance in the main building. Each apartment has a fully furnished kitchen, terrace and /or outside seating area with lawn chairs.  There is an exhibition of paintings and sculptures, which were created by invited visiting artists in the gallery on the ground floor.  Nearby the main building there are two other buildings, a cottage and a large stone barn that serves as an atelier for painters and sculptors.  Chianti and other varieties of Italian wines can be enjoyed from an 18-meter long cool cellar situated below the atelier.  All our guests can enjoy using the outdoor swimming pool (10 x 4.5 x 1.2m) from mid-May until early September. A game of table tennis or billiards can also compliment one's stay at Podere Mollano.  Podere Mollano is ideally located - 50km from Florence, 30km from Siena and 20km from San Gimignano. It is only an hour drive to the Mediterranean (in the direction of the Island of Elba) about 80km away.  There is a nice bar and two very good restaurants within walking distance from Podere Mollano.  The picturesque medieval town of Casole is a mere 6km away. In Casole one can enjoy a game of tennis or go horseback riding.
